I’ve researched my pending espresso machine purchase to death and still can’t decide.?

I could go to $ 400, but is useful for me? I'll take a couple of cappuccino a day that do not use it much. I'm not a snob. A stainless steel model would be great, but not necessary. Breville studied $ 400 (China), Briel $ 350 and I heard the base $ 150 Saeco Via Veneto is very good. I can get a suitable machine for less than $ 200 and buy a better grinder. What do you think?

I use to sell espresso machines. Here’s the deal: there are 2 kinds of machines…Steam driven or Pump driven.

You can purchase a less expensive steam driven that produces more of a coffee than an espresso OR you can purchase a more expensive machine that is pump driven which will produce more of a true espresso.

I say since you are buying it just to have a couple of cappuccino’s a day and your not purchasing it because you will be making drinks all day long then go with a pump driven lesser expensive model and grap that burr grinder. I love my burr grinder (one of the best investment’s I’ve made).

Hope this helps.

I have a Brun for $100 and it works just great. As long as you get one with a pump, then the rest doesn’t matter… and I only paid about $30 for my grinder.
