I have a Briel coffee machine that stopped working well. It leaks around the cup that holds the coffee, why?

by brielespressomachine.net on March 30, 2010

The pressure seems to accumulate in the glass containing the coffee. When removing a large amount of water vapor trapped destination. It's like the cup is blocked. The machine is almost new, however. Am I using the wrong coffee grounds? What could be the problem? Coffee seems a loss of about top of the filter basket.

Is it still brewing fine coffee?

It seems like a lot of machines have this “sneeze” problem. Make sure water can run through the basket just fine, and make sure you wash it after each use. Try making your grind a little coarser or packing a little looser. If that doesn’t help, call the company. Since the machine is almost new, it should still be under at least partial warranty. It’s probably nothing too serious, but it can make a big mess!
